We will not be attempting to completely revamp your game during these sessions - Only adapting to faster pace of play and higher skilled players. This camp is focused on shaking off the rust off of skating skills, save selections and puck play before it counts in the fall.

3 WEEKENDS - 6 HOURS OF ON-ICE INSTRUCTION
The Beginner Series is programmed directly for U13/U11/U9 goalies who are just starting to play goal, want to learn the basics and build some confidence in net before the start of the season.
These sessions are a condensed version of our 2023 Summer Camp On-Ice curriculum, without any off-ice components.
Series Curriculum Includes:
Goalie posture and save mechanics
Importance of proper positioning
Goalie specific movement skills
Anticipating the play
Reading shot releases
Our lessons include how a small goalie can play big, controlling saves for whistles, successfully handling breakaways and movement skills that goalies will continue to develop throughout their first seasons as a goaltender.

Over the holidays, we offer 2 different styles of goalie camps in Lloydminster.
Camp 1, Summer Camp in December, is a condensed version of the Netscience Goaltending summer school.
All 3 days include a pre-game warm up routine, ninety minute ice session, and goalie specific dryland including everyone's favorite vision/coordination portion!

Netscience camps always include a 3:1 - Goalie:Coach ratio and have programming appropriate for all skill levels.
We hire Midget AAA and Junior shooters who have full control over their velocity and shot placement.

Camp 2, New Year's Tune-Up Camp , is a less expensive version of Camp 1 with a different timetable and less off-ice components.

Feb. 18: Puck Handling - Helping Defencemen and Deceiving Fore-checkers
Feb. 19: Goalie IQ - Goalie Radar, Soft-Focus and Breakaway Strategy

Coordination training includes juggling progressions, hand-eye training tools, nerf, and off-ice puck handling. Off-ice training also adheres to the day's theme.
